A woman has been charged with vehicular manslaughter after allegedly hitting a nanny who was pushing a baby stroller in a pedestrian crosswalk.
It happened in early February in Torry Highlands.
Authorities have also charged the driver for failing to stop at a red light, and failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
The accident happened at the intersection of Camino del Sur and Via Verrazzano, killing one adult and severely injuring a toddler.
Witnesses at the scene tell local television news stations that a female bicyclist pulled the toddler out from under the stroller. Witnesses also report hearing the driver screaming after the accident.
